A Manor is the area in which the lord of a castle can sell seeds, purchase harvested crops, and produce items from mature crops in his or her own territory.
Players can buy the seeds from the Manor Manager NPC in each town, and can then sow them into monsters of the appropriate level and territory. This will enable the players to harvest the monsters, upon which they will receive a certain amount of crops.
Harvested crops can be sold back to the Manor Manager NPC and players will receive a predetermined amount of basic materials in exchange for their crops. The amount of materials is based on the type of crop and how each Castle Lord has set up his or her Manor.
For every crop that players sell back to the Manor Manager NPC, the Castle Lord will earn a mature crop of the same type which can be used to produce a variety of items.
The types of seeds that can be made, as well as the maximum amount sold, are fixed according to the Castle Lord.
The types of crops that can be produced by a monster vary according to the seed types.
Players can purchase seeds from the Manor Manager NPC of their territory. The Manor Manager NPC announces the sale of seeds to the players every day at 8 p.m (server time). It is not possible to buy seeds during a siege.
There are two categories of seeds: Regular and Alternative. While using Regular Seeds, monsters for which sowing is successful do not drop items, other than Adena. Alternative Seeds will nullify this side effect, however, Alternative Seeds produce substantially less crops than their regular counterparts.
The type of crop produced is the same as the type of seed, regardless of its category (Regular or Alternative).
Information about the seeds and rewards can be viewed at the Manor Manager NPC.
Players who have purchased seeds can use the seeds by sowing them into monsters of the designated territory (indicated by the seed’s description).

If a player succeeds at sowing, a certain amount of crops can be acquired using a harvester on the corpse of the monster that was sowed. Harvesters can be purchased from the Manor Manager NPC.
Players who harvest crops from a monster can sell them to Castle Lords via the Manor Manager NPC. Crop prices and rewards are determined daily by the Castle Lord. Crops can be sold back to any territory as long as they can buy it and the quota for that crop has not been filled for that day.
The types and amount of rewards obtained from selling crops varies according to the Manor settings for each territory. Each Castle Lord can only buy back a fixed amount of crops, therefore, players will have to compete in order to sell the most popular crops at the best prices. Crops can be sold every day starting at 8p.m..
The Manor Manager NPC charges a commission of 5% for each sale.
Information regarding the types of rewards and crop prices can be viewed at the Manor Manager NPC.

The crops purchased from the players by the Manor Manager NPC will be processed into mature crops and deposited directly into the Castle Lord’s clan warehouse. 10% of the crops processed this way are paid to the Manor Manager NPC.
Mature crops produced in this manner are used directly by the Castle Lord to produce a variety of items.
The items that can be produced include, but are not restricted to, Potions, Crystals, Enchantment Scrolls, Dualsword Craft Stamps, and Giant’s Codexes.
Producing items is carried out by the Blacksmith NPC in each castle. When producing items through the blacksmith, certain fees must be paid.
The Castle Lord chooses the type, quantity, and price of seeds to be sold by the Manor Manager NPC. Then, the Castle Lord is notified by the NPC how much Adena he or she needs to invest. The seed and reward prices can be viewed by speaking with the particular castle's Grand Chamberlain. If there is not enough money in the castle warehouse, the sale of seeds on that day is cancelled.
The amount earned from selling through the Manor Manager NPC is deposited each day in the castle warehouse, just like taxes. When setting the seeds' sale price, it is restricted so that the price can be set between 60% and 1000% of the seeds' base price. Likewise, when setting the crop's buyback price, it is restricted so that the price can be set between 60% and 1000% of the crop’s base price.
When crops are bought by the Manor Manager NPC, the costs for those crops are automatically deducted from the castle warehouse, and if there is not enough money in the warehouse, the purchasing of crops is suspended. To restart purchasing, money must be put in the castle warehouse again.
Clan leaders can set Manor-related configurations every day between 8:00 p.m. and 4:30 a.m. the next morning. After 4:30 a.m., no modifications to that day’s Manor settings can be made. Pre-designated Manor-related funds are withdrawn from the warehouse every day at 4:30 a.m. If there are not enough funds, the Manor will not operate for the day. When the Manor opens at 8:00 p.m., crops purchased on the previous day will be transferred to the clan warehouse, and the remaining balance will be deposited in the castle warehouse.
