Introduction to the L2 Store

NCsoft West is proud to make the L2 Store availble in coordinaton with the launch of Goddess of Destruction™ on November 30, 2011. This page will provide an introduction to the store interface as well as provide guidance about how to best use the items available within the store. While you will not be able to purchase items directly from this page with NCoin, it will be a useful reference as you browse the in-game store to provide supplemental information and guidance.

 

Accessing the L2 Store

To open the L2 Store, login to Lineage II: Goddess of Destruction and click on the L2 Store button. This button can be moved anywhere on the screen for your convenience and play preferences.

 

Understanding the L2 Store Interface

Once you have clicked the L2 Store button above, you'll see the interface below. Most of the content is very intuitive, but this guide will point out major features and buttons so you can use the L2 Store like a pro.

Store Tabs

The first thing you may notice is the various tabs across the top of the store. These tabs help you to better find what you are looking for as items are organized by various types or functions here. Click a few of the tabs in the store to familarize yourself with their contents.

Bundles: This contains special value bundles of a variety of items for less than if you were to buy them separately.

Featured: This will change frequently to feature promotional, limited, event related or other special items.

Cosmetic: This contains items to modify your appearance in game.

XP Boost: This contains items to help you level faster by increasing XP and SP rates among other things.

Supplies: This contains consumable items to help your progress in the game.

Others: This contains items that don't easily fit into one of the above categories...currently you can find pets here.

All Items: This contains all items currently available for sale in the L2 Store.

P. History Tab

Beacause this tab functions differently than the items tab, it deserves a separate section. Once you have purchased your first item, this tab will list your Purchase History.

Product List / Product Details

As you click each tab along the top, the items displayed in the 'Product List' window will change. Click on any of the items in the list to display the contents in the 'Product Details' window on the right. Be sure to scroll down to see the full details as well as related items that may be of interest.

If you see a question mark icon '?', while reading about Product Details, click it for a popup description.

If you double click any of the items in the 'Product List', it will be function the same as if you were to click the 'Purchase' button.

Buy NCoin button

Use this button for a direct link to the NCsoft store where you can buy or refill your NCoin balance.

Change Button (Qty)

You can either type in a qty desired in the text box, or click the 'Change' button to open a popup window with text box and number pad for qty input.

Cancel Button

Use this button to close the L2 Store window.

Search button

Above the 'Product List' window is the search text box and button. Use this text box to type a word then press the 'Search' button to narrrow the list of displayed items in 'Product List'. The search function allows you to enter a partial word as well. For example, enter "vit" to search for all the "vitality" items.

Sort Buttons

Below the 'Product List' window are 3 buttons that allow you to change the order of items displayed. Click once to sort top to bottom or high to low and click a second time to reverse the order.

Item: This will sort by when the item was added to the L2 Store. So if you want to see the newest item, use this button.

Price: This will sort the items in order of price...low to high with first click and high to low with second. If you want to locate the least or most expensive items quickly, use this button.

Name: This wlil sort the items in alphabetical order by item name. If you are looking for similar items or similar functions, use this button.

Purchase button

Once you click the Purchase button, you'll see the following popup window that will allow you to complete your purchase. Clicking the 'Purchase' button will complete your purchase and reduce your NCoin balance for the price of the item(s). Clicking 'Cancel' will return you to the L2 Store. Clicking 'Buy NCoin' will link you directly to the NCsoft store where you can buy or refill your NCoin balance.
